With two decades in emergency medicine and 16 years operating at the paramedic level, James brings a depth of clinical knowledge and field experience that sets Bastion training apart. As a Tactical Paramedic, his certifications span tactical combat casualty care, pre-hospital trauma, advanced cardiac, and pediatric care — and his experience across rural, urban, and suburban environments means he's seen and managed the full spectrum of emergencies. Every skill taught in our courses has been applied in real emergencies — not just practiced in a classroom. That's the Bastion difference.

BLS (Basic Life Support)
For healthcare providers and first responders. AHA-certified, covers adult/child/infant CPR, AED use, and airway management. 2-year certification.
Heartsaver CPR/AED & First Aid
For the general public and workplace responders. No medical background required. Covers CPR, AED, and essential first aid skills. 2-year AHA certification.
Stop the Bleed
Learn to control life-threatening bleeding before EMS arrives. Covers direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet application. Completion certificate provided.
