Bleeding is the number one cause of preventable death from trauma. This hands-on Stop the Bleed course teaches everyday people and professionals how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and take immediate action — before EMS arrives.

• Recognizing life-threatening bleeding
• Applying direct pressure effectively
• Wound packing techniques
• Tourniquet application (commercial and improvised)
• Certificate of completion upon finishing the course

Your Instructor

Taught by James Fleckenstein — 20 years as a first responder, and sixteen years a Paramedic. With tens of thousands of actual 911 responses urban, suburban, and rural systems. Also worked as a firefighter, Department of State contractor in Iraq and Afghanistan, and also an American Heart Association instructor for BLS, first aid, ACLS, and PALS. Also a provider for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care, and Prehospital Trauma Life Support.
